Product Introduction |
Roof prisms are used for beam splitting, such as generating dual focal points to optimize laser welding applications (dual-focus technology). Roof prisms are plane mirrors with two mirror surfaces inclined to each other to split the beam. The typical angle is quite small (within a few degrees) to produce two focal points with the same focal length, with closely spaced focal distances, sometimes overlapping.
Roof prisms are used in dual-focus technology, such as using dual-focus to optimize laser welding applications, and achieving light metal welding through dual-focus technology.
Zhengye Optoelectronics can customize the production of roof prisms that meet your application needs. According to the seam position of the focusing head, different splitting directions can be selected, and the required focal depth and focal length at the specified position can be specified to calculate the position and angle of the roof prism mirror surface.
